THE BIBLE: We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God (II Timothy 3:16)
ONE TRUE GOD: We believe that there is one God, EL, YHVH, I AM, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son (Jesus Christ) and Holy Spirit and that He created the world. (Gen 1:1, John 1:1-4,14; 16:13-14; 14:26).
JESUS: We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory. (John 1:4, 3:16, 8:58, 10:30; II Cor 5:21, Hebrews 7:26, 9:26-28, Acts 1:11, 2:24)
HOLY SPIRIT: We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and in all the gifts of the Holy Spirit and their manifestation. We believe the Holy Spirit empowers believers to live a godly life and continue in all the works of Jesus. (Mark 16:17, Acts 2:4,38-39, Acts 8:14-17, 10:44-47, 18:1-7, Rom. 8:26-27, 1 Cor. 14.2, 14-15, 18, 39).
ATONEMENT: We believe that sin and sickness are in the atonement of the Blood of Christ, and that His Blood is able to cleanse, save, justify and heal those who believe in His sacrificial death for their sins and sicknesses, repent of their sins and confess Jesus as their Lord and Savior. By acceptance of this blood sacrifice, man is counted as righteous; his dominion restored and is given eternal life. (Acts 4:12, John 10:28, Rom. 4:24-25, Heb. 9:22, Rom. 6:23, 3:23-25; Isaiah 53:3-5 and I Pet 2:24)
OUR POSITION IN CHRIST: We believe that we, as Believers, are made in God’s (the Trinity) image and after their likeness and have been given dominion and authority over the whole earth and over all the power of the devil. (Gen 1:26-28, Luke 10:19, Mark 16:17-18, Matt 28:18-20)
HEALING AND DELIVERANCE: We believe that God has made Divine provisions for the healing of sickness and diseases, and to deliver the oppressed from every form of demonic oppression and entanglement. We do not believe a Christian can be possessed of a demon, but a Christian can have demons or be ‘demonized’. Deliverance is the “children’s bread” Sometimes deliverance is necessary to get healed. (Ps. 103:3, 107:20, Isa. 53:5; Matt 8:17, 15:21,17:14-21, Mark. 16:15-18, 7:27; James 5:14-15, 1 Pet.2:24, John 3:8, Lk. 4:18-19, 10:17-20, 13:11, Acts 10:38)
We believe it is God’s will to heal everyone that comes to Him in faith. Jesus took stripes on his back for our healing. There is nothing you have to do to deserve or earn it-it is a gift of grace just like salvation. But just like salvation, you have to believe and receive His gift. And sometimes, you need to renounce/repent of things that allow the devil to attack you with sickness. (Isaiah 4-5, Matt 8:17)
We believe that one should do everything they can in the ‘natural’ (as long as it doesn’t oppose God’s word) and everything they can in the ‘spiritual’ to get healed. Therefore we are not opposed to medical treatment or using supplements, diets, cleanses, etc. We DO NOT embrace, teach or use any New Age healing modalities.
We believe that we are living in the Kingdom age and that the message of the Kingdom is that Jesus came to bring us redemption, freedom, healing, provision, deliverance and peace. Therefore, every time someone is ‘Sozoed” (Greek for saved, healed, delivered, rescued and made whole), that we are advancing the Kingdom. Therefore, everything we do is…FOR THE KING AND HIS KINGDOM!
